Sanguine rose and conjure dremora lord12/19/2023 The two spells that you gain by wearing Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana are called Ignite and Freeze. This is the only way to get these two spells. The Mage of Ahzidal build is themed around using the two unique spells that are added to your spell list when you equip Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana. One final thing you should also know is that dual-casting a cloak spell will double its range. You might opt for more Destruction spells (and we do recommend at least a couple of those, since you'll already be leveling up that tree), but you could also try Conjuration and Illusion spells that create even less work for you! You could practically just sit in the middle of the fight and watch it happen around you. Other than the core of the build, the cloaks, the spells you use depend on your playstyle preferences. You'll save yourself perk points and be able to focus other buffs. It can only be used once per day, so you still shouldn't skip out on the actual spell, but it does save you a bit of magicka from time to time, not to mention freeing up a hand.Īs with other elemental Destruction builds, we recommend focusing on one particular element rather than splitting your attention between two or more. Though dps way, it can be easily outmatched by a custom bow, but we're not talking about crafted weapons here.If you want to play as an Elemental Storm, consider making your character a Dunmer (a dark elf)! Their racial power, Ancestor's Wrath, functions exactly the same as the Flame Cloak spell. For bows, Zephyr is the most powerful due to its unique enchantment. There's also Miraak's sword, which I believe has the highest dps of any one-handed weapon in the game, but you have to be at least level 60 to get the most powerful version. Volundrung is also popular, because it has the fourth highest dps of any two-handed weapon in the game, and you can get it at level 15! Honestly, its pretty much the only daedric artifact weapon that's really worth using, with the exception of Mehrune's Razor, but that's only useful if you're playing on master or legendary (the thing has a 1% chance of instantly killing w/e you strike with it, quite handy if you're fighting something that could take hundreds of hits to kill, but useless otherwise). Or fortify your hp by millions to make yourself indestructible.Īs for the best weapon you can find without crafting? Hard to say. Doing this, you can make a bow that can more than one-shot anything in the game, thousands of times over. Do this a total of 3 times and you'll be able to make potions that fortify your skills by the millions. Re-equip your gear, making another potion, and drink that. Or, more simply, wear fortify alchemy gear and drink a fortify restoration potion. Though if you don't have the unofficial patch, you can become a vampire and get the necromage perk to make these enchanting and alchemy effects on you even more overpowered. At best you'll only be able to make fortify enchanting potions with a magnitude of 25% I think. Note that doing this will NOT result in an infinite loop. You can also use potions to fortify your enchanting, and your enchanting to fortify your alchemy. Smith it up with both fortify smithing enchantments, and fortify smithing potions. Maxing Archery should be your priority as soon as possible whatever the means to achieve it (even if you have to shoot a giant stuck on a terrain / obsticle over and over) once you hit the stagger perk and fast arrow drawing perks in archery tree everything becomes a breeze.Ī stalhrim weapon enchanted with chaos and frost damage. I only put 4 points in Light Armor to get the stamina regen. Ranged sneak attacks + ability to cancel combat at will is a force to be reckoned with.Įspecially since most enemies at Sneak 100 have their perception greatly reduced.ĭownside of this method is the fact that you have to allocate some points in Sneak early.Īnd some enemies might outlevel you a bit if you grinded Sneak at the begining but don't worry like i said Shadow Warrior + Bow will keep you alive and make you emerge victorious most of the time.ĭragons might be a bit tricky but since you aren't a melee class you can utilize cover.Īnother tip is to start honing Alchemy, Smithing, Enchanting as soon as possible.ĭon't bother maxing armor perks as Sneak archer you won't need them. Sneak is easy and quite fast to grind very early.Īnd sneak attacks from Bows may not be as powerful as dagger ones yet but the fact that you can do them on a distance reduces the chance of you being spotted to nearly a 0.Įven if you do somehow get spotted don't underestimate the power of Shadow Warrior perk. Well idk if you know that already or no but pairing Sneak with Archery makes you unstoppable from the start.
